Stay slim while you travel and eat your favorite foods!

Even when I travel, I still find ways to stay active so that I don't have endorphin withdrawals! This past weekend I found creative ways to keep moving that I want to share with you. I have a hard time sitting still for extended amounts of time, so on my flight to and from the east coast I made sure to get up and do the Mission Possible stretching series in the back of the plane - I even did some squats! I brought along my trusty jump rope and resistance cord, and I jumped rope (without shame, haha!) while I was waiting for my suitcase to appear on the belt in baggage claim.

Once I was in New York,
I walked all over the city! To me this is a luxury that I hardly ever get to experience in LA. I enjoyed pizza and Chianti in Little Italy, and "dark chocolate" M&Ms from the massive, two story M&Ms store in Times Square. I felt great about it because I walked all of it off instead of taking a cab or the subway! I didn't do any serious exercising, I just moved!

"It all counts"

As you said once before, "it all counts." Glad to hear that you didn't take the easy way out by grabbing a quick and tempting cinnabon at the airport. Good job making the most of your situation while in New York (and on the flight!)

HI!

hello Jenna,

I was googleing my name tonight for fun and came across your Mission Possible website...I was wondering what that mission that was possible was..so i continued to the actual site...The first thing that caught my eye was your name...which is the same as mine, Jenna Phillips! Then I read some more...and saw that you are a personal trainer..which is awesome! I'm very active...play lots of sports...but anyways. THEN i read more and thought it was the weirdest thing when i saw that you are a Type 1 Diabetic...because I AM TOO! I never thought i would ever see someone with my same name let alone with diabetes!! Pretty weird huh?!?!!!

So It is very nice to see that you are on a mission to be insulin free although...i am kind of confused as to how you can do that as a T1...do you just eat really low carb and then exercise it off?? But however you do that....that is really amazing..props to you!

I wish I lived in LA so i could be trained by someone who had the same name and disease as me!!! haha.
Sadly...I don't know of any personal trainers in PA who have Type 1 Diabetes...I hope you have the time to Comment back..You are a very busy person i would assume!

PS: Jumprope on a plane...very impressive! :)
-Jenna
